California Leads Nation in Green-Tech Venture Funding

California eclipsed other states last year in collecting venture capital funding for clean technology, according to a recently released analysis from Ernst & Young. California companies collected $2.8 billion, or 57 percent, of the $4.9 billion in clean-tech sector venture capital funding nationwide last year, the report found.
